argh!  me right now.....

Yesterday I saw an uber cute banner for ponystars.com so after a quick google search I checked it out.  Thinking it would be something fun for my niece I went to the site and gave it a test run. 

This morning my I.T. Department showed me documentation of the 50 trojan viruses they were alerted to on my comp by macafee.  (they also say I now hold the record for most viruses caught in a single day btw)  Macafee caught and deleted them all (we think).  Since the first marker for the dl was popcap game something or other I know it had to be the ponystar site because that was the only popcap thing I did yesterday.

So the point of all this is to warn all of you (and please pass the word along if you would) to avoid ponystars.com.

I called and did it and it only took about a minute.  (I don't even watch the show)</span>

 I think maybe I have been reading too much Evil!Sam fic lately...this tiny little bunny chomped me.

 I am really starting to worry about the fate of Supernatural.  Maybe I am just being a worry wort but this season looks to only have 12 eps instead of the ordered 22 because of the strike.  Now the Strike is for a good cause and I support them and hope that the writers win this and get better money for the awesome job that they do.  BUT, the CW isn't even going to air reruns of SPN right now.  They are putting in fucking Reaper.  I'm sure it's an ok show and all but why do they have to pull Spn to show it?  

New eps start back on January 31st and there are supposedly 4 eps total left to air.  What happens then?  I have this pit in my stomach that says after that Supernatural may only be a fond memory.  I hope that isn't the case.  I really, really, hope that it isn't.  I Love Supernatural.  It's the best show ever in my opinion.  But this is exactly why I quit watching regular television years ago.  It seems like every show that I get invested in goes away.  Of course my tastes haven't ever been mainstream at all but that is beside the point.  

Supernatural has NEVER gotten the promotional push that the CW applies to some of their lineup and its the stupidest shows that they push in my opinion.  Why couldn't Supernatural been given that kind of push?  Even when it was the WB they didn't push it.  Why the hell not, I ask you.

Even Samantha Ferris (Ellen) is starting to wonder if it is going to survive the strike.  And speaking of Ellen...Where the hell did she go?  Her and Bobby are awesome co-stars and they aren't even billed as such.  They are listed as guest stars.  WTF?  And the CW's push for T&A which resulted in Ruby and Bella are listed as co-stars now?  Grrrrrr.  More Bobby and Ellen and less of the t&a if you please, hell even if you don't please.  I am not a rabid fangirl that thinks that Sam and Dean shouldn't get some along the way but these two?  I like the concept of Ruby's character but the actress that plays her annoys the crap out of me.  Bella's ok but it how she is billed that irks me.  I actually like Bella.  She is a great foil to the guys.  Annoying and pushy and unscrupulous enough that I am right there with the guys on wanting to shoot her.  But I felt the same way about Gordon too.  And Hendrickson.  One of those characters that you just love to hate.  And that works.  But Ruby's actress makes me grit my teeth.    I could have really gotten behind the actress that briefly played the demon Dean was trapped with.  What was her name?  Casey?  Anyway.  I liked her.  Believable and deeper than a birdbath at least. 

Ok.  My ranting is over for a few.  (I still don't think anybody reads this but at least I got it off my chest.)

 

 Well, even though the lack of comments kinda proved my point about shouting into an empty room I feel bad about throwing a case of the whinys out.  So my main goal of posting this is to bump my last post down.

So, I cannot belive that I missed the christmas episode of supernatural.  I just can't belive it.  I got sidetracked with some mundane detail and totally forgot!  I have NEVER forgotten Supernatural.  EVER!  It's the highlight of my week and possibly my existence at this point.  I have looked over at the CW and on youtube and I have pieced together most of it but that doesn't come close to being curled up on the couch with my dog in my lap and a cold glass of iced tea beside completely absorbed into the boys' world.  *Sigh*  I feel so disloyal.
